Sleeping sand rabbit

Artist Dennis Shives's sleeping rabbit dozes in the morning fog. The Citizens Planning Association sandcastle contest is always fun! My favorite time is the early morning after, when few are there but seagulls and the completed castles and sculptures are easy to see. Although someone had stepped on each one, first year I've seen that, the essences were still there to enjoy. I particularly love the castles, but they're hard to capture in two-dimensional photos. I hope others have more pictures that capture the pleasures of the entire day.
