A cute homeless cat named Stripey

Stripey, a friendly male brown tabby, arrived at ASAP, the county cat shelter, on September 5th wearing a black collar with white paw prints. Stripey has an AVID microchip.... # 109802363. On August 27th, the owner sent a fax to AVID saying that Stripey went missing on August 21st. But now the phone number and address the owner gave are no longer in service.

Stripey recently had medical attention... we can see that he has had an IV catheter... and yet none of our local vets has any information about him.

Is Stripey your cat or do you know who he belongs to? If so, please help us solve this mystery and call ASAP at 683-3368.
