LaRouche Supporters At Lazy Acres
updated: Aug 29, 2009, 1:00 AM

From Edhat Subscriber

I forward this letter to you untouched, and exactly as received from
Jason Dew, at Lazy Acres. You may find it interesting. It sounds to me like I was not the only person offended by those LaRouche people at their store yesterday.

--- Letter From Lazy Acres ---

Good Morning...hope the day is finding you well. How do I wish we were Communicating under much different circumstances...

As you know the LaRouche party chose to target our community yesterday with their message and disgraceful behavior. Unfortunately these individuals succeeded in making quite a stir, and for reasons only known by their shameless actions, found some sort of pleasure in offending not only each member of the Lazy Acres family, but our friends, families, customers, and community.

On behalf of the entire Lazy Acres Family, please know that their presence was in no way condoned or supported outside of the simple fact that legally they pushed every boundary available to them to stand outside our door as long as they could. We were successful in removing them yesterday with continued assistance from the SB Police Dept. However sad to say they will be looking to return as often as possible.

Currently we are researching all means of having them banned from our property and have reached out to many concerned citizens asking them to assist us when needed as to ensure that these individuals cannot return.

The day was beyond exhausting, so many of our wonderful customers and employees (myself included) were hurt and angered by these individuals and their behavior.

Rarely do I not find the words, however regarding these individuals and the disgusting display they created here yesterday I am quite speechless....

I can only offer my most sincere apology to you and each of my employees that these individuals chose and choose to do what they do...

Please know that we are equally if not more offended by what transpired and will do what we can to prevent future incidents...

Thank you again for taking the time to communicate with us, we appreciate you and are grateful for our place in the SB Community.

Jason Dew
Store Director
Lazy Acres Market
