Caltrans Issues EIR on Bridge Suicide Barrier

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has completed the environmental phase of the Cold Spring Canyon Suicide Barrier Project in Santa Barbara County. Comments on the document and the Departments responses to those comments have been incorporated into the final environmental document.
Copies of the Final Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Assessment and Section 4(f) Evaluation with Finding of No Significant Impact are available for public viewing at the Santa Barbara Central Library, Solvang Branch Library, Goleta Branch Library, Montecito Branch Library, Santa Barbara County Clerks Office, and the Caltrans District 5 office in San Luis Obispo. The document can also be viewed and downloaded from the Caltrans website.
