Since 2000, the paint on the outside walls has faded and been chipped away, and the metal behind the rusting gate has corroded.

Transfer Station - Transfer Station: At the County Transfer Station (dump) off of Calle Real there is big white sign that spells out these hold-
your-nose no-nos in big, black, capital letters. Up until 1966 the Calle Real facility was a landfill in its
own right. Today the daily trash is put onto big trucks and driven 24 miles up 101N to the County-owned
Tajiguas landfill.
