In the middle of a beautiful afternoon, we had to go to Santa Barbara City College and sit by the bridge. We were forced to gaze at the ocean, the palm trees and the harbor below. And to pass the time as we gazed at all we are thankful for, we counted the number of students walking past us who were either using a cell phone or an iPod.
