What Do You Think? - What Do You Think?: The buzz was high, but the dedicated staff of edhat.com just isnt sure if the move from restaurant to receptacle of historic relics is a slam dunk, kung pao good thing. On the one hand its nice that the building will stay, and there wont be a restaurant selling national chain Chow Mein. But on the other hand, it just seems a little ridiculous that the solution to saving Santa Barbara is to turn the whole place into a museum.

Pond Memories - Pond Memories: Last February, on the eve of Film Festival mania, we fooled most of the Edhat faithful by having them locate turtles that werent at Alice Keck Park Park. Instead, the turtles were at La Arcada in front of The Acapulco Restaurant. Most of you are probably aware that the restaurant is gone. But, until yesterday, the dedicated staff of edhat.com didnt know that the turtles were gone as well, along with the water and the fish.

Third Times a Charm - Third Times a Charm: It's almost Halloween, but the scary part is over for the dedicated staff of edhat.com. On Wednesday we made our annual trek up to UCSB to survey a room full of students about what they're planning to dress as for the weekend parties. The bravest member of the staff got up in front of 200 Art History students and, using a microphone, told them about Edhat and gave them instructions on filling out the forms being passed around the class.
