This is a great resource for the community! In addition to what's being provided I recommend folks also think about the fiscal end of an emergency. Be sure to set up an "emergency fund" that you put money in with every paycheck. You'll feel SO MUCH BETTER using these funds when the need arises than if you were to pull from a regular checking account.

Having an emergency stash of cash is recommended; trouble with me is that I forget where it's hidden.
