@933 I am a fan and I CAN sing her songs. To each their own in life, especially with musical taste. I believe Fiona is a phenomenal talent and have loved her since '97. It was an amazing feeling to be able to finally see her live and at the Bowl nonetheless. As for the eating disorder comments, it is her body type. Since the very beginning she has been thin like that. I have 2 friends that are exactly the same way and one even eats upwards of 4k cals a day. Fast metabolism!! I hope everyone realizes that negative comments show the quality of your character. Be aware. I thoroughly enjoyed her and can't wait till her next show!

933, distinguished music critic, graces us all with their opinion of a highly regarded and well respected artist. Thank you for enlightening us! (I wasn't able to attend, but I live on the Eastside so I was able to listen to some of it. Very enjoyable!)

I was not aware of her anorexia - don't pay much attention to her. But I will say that Fiona Apple is the most overrated talentless nothing in music today. I saw her once at the Bowl when I was given a free ticket. No melody. No harmony. Weird chord changes that make no musical sense. Her music is bizarre and totally irritating, and it attracts bizarre people who have somehow been alienated from the culture entirely. There is not musicality or musical sense to what she does. It is alien and bizarre. For those attracted to this stuff, good luck. But I'll bet that NONE of her supposed fans can sing ONE of her songs because they are so unmemorable and dysfunctional.

She is a wonderful artist. However, I find it painful to watch her/see photos of her. Two of my female friends now are in complete denial about their anorexia/bulimia. When Fiona looks in the mirror, I guarantee you she thinks she is too fat. I find this very disturbing.
There are so many health problems associated with being anorexic. Not the least of these problems is related to having some meat on your bones if and when you become ill. If you are already severely underweight, you can be in serious trouble. I am glad she gave a good performance.

Agreed 360! Excellent show! She continues to get better and better in my opinion. Absolutely loved her last album a few years ago and I am already getting addicted to the new one. She is a true artist- not easy to come by these days....

It was a great show - she has a wonderful voice, great personality on stage, and was very entertaining. It gets old when people start in with the 'she needs to eat something' comments when someone looks thin in a picture. She seems to be a tiny, small, thin person. Some people are naturally this way. I used to be this way when I was younger and I ate plenty of food and never dieted. The rude remarks about you need to eat something got old and I never did come up with a good come back for them. Wish I had the same metabolism now.

Fiona has always been small, tiny and thin. My first reaction was drugs, but no this is Fiona. She lost her shoe at one point. Wonderful performance last night. I went at the last minute and am glad I did. Show was not sold out.
