Thanks Roger. I can just imagine you doing operation mouse trap only to have the little mousey eat your food and leave! Next time leave it a little beer with the peanut butter...it will help wash the food down and he (or she) might get inebriated and fall asleep. You might not even need to get a bigger bucket! Keep doing what your doing - you're the BEST!

Thank you Roger. I've never commented before, but I think your reports are the best and most worthwhile journalism in this town. Not kidding. Keep up the great work!

"There is a mouse turd on my keyboard." giggle. Thanks for the smile. I know you cannot take a news break, but I'm sorry about that. I think what you do increases your anxiety and adds to anyones negative state of mind. It does for me when I'm full up with it. But I'm also glad you're here for us, and that you're doing something important and oh so useful. And that you realize it is important to us.

Roger when are you going to turn your stories into a book? You are a fab storyteller. I would buy it. Lots of folks would. And the money could go towards getting into a new dwelling.

A pick up truck with a camper on back me and Pooh Bear fishing for Bass in Eagle River...Of course that damn mouse would be there too! It's hard to write some of the rough stuff but thinking of doing it all in essays..I have had a title for 20 years...

Get a snake that recycles mice. A nice pet Ball Python grows no larger than five feet.

There are mouse traps that actually just catch them w/o killing them. However, I've had to clean up a HUGE amount of rat and mouse poo in our home before, and no-longer have those feelings of sympathy for the poor little rodents. Make sure you clean up all the mouse poo/pee carefully. You don't want to inhale poo particles or hunta virus from the pee. If you vacuum poo up, spray it first with lysol or better a water/bleach solution and then vacuum it up. Would totally read your book. :)

We love your reports and chats. Sounds like the scanner reports of violence are getting to you. Remember that you are only the messenger. Imagine how our police feel when dealing with this every day! Kudos to you and them.
