He took off in his truck he was gone along time which tells me he was probley at the Land Lords. WHEN HE GOT BACK HE WAS OBVIOUSLY REALLY ANGRY HE WAS TALKING TO ONE OF THE OTHER NEIGHBORS WAVING HIS ARMS ALL OVER THE PLACE. i COULD NOT HEAR HIM BUT KNEW HE WAS TALKING ABOUT US AND MAYBE ANOTHER NEIGHBOR. Sorry about the caps I wasn't looking at the Keyboard things are bound to get ugly but I will only do what I have to do to defend myself.. I know there is going to be some payback on this that is just the kind of wonderful guy he is..I hope he doesn't go after the cats..But he probley will and he might get me too..Won't be the first person he wasted according to him and now he's got the blessing of the cops HELL They might even give him the Extra Step award and take him out for donuts..

Hopefully I'm baaaaaaaccck.. I would like to think everything is wonderful here and I'm full of helium but I have to look at this for real The guy is a jerk. He has been since he moved in here. His back area looks like a prison yard weights and all every woman that is single and moves in here alone he comes on to courting them into bed then turns on the control..He controls many people through intimadation dressing up like a prison yard gang banger retired of course. When the land lord needs work done if he cannot do it himself Ricky Ricardo gets cheap labor to do it for him this really happened and I'm so tired of scum bags trying to rule my life and I will never back down to this jerk. I will be nice and legal of course but if I have to go through legal channels I will..For now I'm not talking to him or his room mate and I will tell them if confronted that the police told me not to have anything to do with him..The only distress I feel is hate but I'm ok.. :)

I just love you and hate to see you in such distress, Roger. One thing that has helped me when I'm really upset and my mind is making up scenarios that usually don't even happen ...I give it the deathbed test. Imagine you are on your deathbed looking back. Then ask yourself " In the grand scheme of things in my life, is it really worth getting upset about this." Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. It usually puts it in perspective for me.

I say "It sounds like alot..." Because what they say is often garbled and hard to hear. There is alot I don't put up but others do..Not everything that people call in is exacley what occured some of it is not as bad some of it is worse. I have heard of acouple "Wash Down" calls which usually means wash down of blood. That is where the fire department comes out with their fire truck and washes it all down the drain. I suspect these involve stabbings too bad I didn't hear the rest of the calls. I have been hearing some gang actitvy latley more than usual it's not all assumptions..There have also been some suspicous deaths among the Homeless population but some of them are such a pain in the Rump Roast the ones that do die suspicously don't seem to count and some of these people were good people "Don't take this drug if you become pregant." That is one of the warnings on my lorzepam bottle..@MesaRats, I know about the Alcohol thang I was in AA for 17 years before I figured out it really wasn't for me they are good people I know many of them. I was the ultimate nightmare drunk everyone gave up on me. I have a real hard time letting go of people that seem hopeless or maybe thats the brain damage from my last drunk still talking to me all these beers later..Yea drunks are a real pain it's a damn good thing I was sober yeasterday things would have been quite ugly..It's been 9 and a half years since I drank the last time I hacked up on a cop he wasn't to pleased with me. heeheeheeheehee

Roger. I have finally figured out that trying to help drunks and druggies is a waste of time unless there is some self motivation on their part. I know it is painful to watch, but until she decides to stop killing herself most everything you do will be like pissing in the wind. It is already having a negative impact on your life. You can offer to go with her to a AA meeting, but other than that you need to create a drama free zone, even if it is in your head. BTW I'm SNOT angry at you about the neighbor It was no big deal and he didn't say anything offensive. I guess he has seen those commercials about messing with Sasquatch.

@Yin Yang your partially right about the board being the entity, but Roger often uses "it sounds like..." which is an assumption. Often what is even being dispatched over the radio is incorrect from the get go. As far as how easy it is to listen to police and fire on the radio I think its very easy, at least for a Combat Controller like myself.

154, go to radio reference.com listen to county sheriff and fire and tell us how easy it is to report what you hear. Roger reports what he hears and it's accurate. The board is the entity that takes off from what is reported. I too would've paid Roger's subscription in a second. Glad things look better in the light of this morning, Roger. Interesting that a thread about Roger receives EIGHTY percent of comments by PAID members. Roger? Belinda is not your responsibility. She is her own responsibility. You can care and take care, but not much more. There's something to be said for looking out for one's self, AKA Number One. I know you may well take offense at this, but hope you see the validity of the statement. Bestest to you. (Ummm.... Rodger, have you checked your state & city ordinances on tenant/landlord rights issues? Alot of cases, tenants have more rights then landlords. I live in the midwest ( I know, very different than beautiful SB) but had real est. license for several yrs. I can also sympathize with you as I am disabled (i.e. low income) & very limited to where I can live otherwise I'd be right there in SB. Here's wishing you sucess & sending you extra strength from across the U.S. You deserve the best! Deborah

My subscription is paid for don't worry about it..Theres alittle blip in the works is all. I spoke to the landlord there is something to be said for being the first caller..I don't like telling people I'm section 8 because many renters are bad but there are many others that are good people..When I was drinking I was horrible and that is what the problem is here alcohol. When I was drinking the police were here all the time, and so was the fire department I look back at those times and laugh because they were funny as hell. ME AND THE LAND LORD WE WAS TALKING ABOUT THOSE TIMES AND CHUCKLING UP A STORM i'LL HAVE TO WRITE ABOUT SOME OF THOSE TIMES TO YOU GUYS..Sorry about the caps..YOU GUYS WARM MY HEART. That nice gal that bought this big chair over to me the neighbor went after her trying to pick up on her. I can't hear as good as I used to so I couldn't hear everything he said to her but I heard alittle and I'm angry at him for that. I got a real problem with guys that come on to woman like that. Now I guess she might be angry at me for not stopping him but I was unaware of what was going on. Thank you for caring about me guys I'm crying again..I feel like Jimmy Stewart in "It's a Wonderful Life" Although I am a bit bigger if I was to get on the bridge to jump into the waters below the bridge would collaspe before I could do it.

I'm sure Roger gets a comped subscription...In case you haven't noticed, things are a bit on auto pilot around here lately, so it probably just got overlooked. I wouldn't worry about find a new place to live either, Roger...SB is nearly 20% subsidized housing and Section 8 has infiltrated nearly every neighborhood in town. I pay a ton in mortgage and taxes, but you could be my neighbor by the end of the week and I'll pay for that as well!

I suggest you call your landlord up and explain the situation to him. From what I gather the police are not considering charges against anyone. Since you are on Section 8 your landlord will have a tough time evicting you unless you have a documented history of causing trouble and have received at least one written warning from your landlord. Even if you are evicted you will have 60 days. Chances are your landlord will talk to you and the other parties and warn both of you not to bother each other but that's as far as it will go. I also suggest the you do not talk to you neighbor since you guys don't get along. And do not get involved in his situations and mind your own business.

I just had along talk with her her drinking is no cup of tea but either is his. He has these loud parties sometimes into the wee hours of the morning. I try to ignore peoples partying but it's really hard he is by far louder than her so she has a point. Of course she went about dealing with it in the wrong way..Shes right though he had the game on and he and his drunk friends were yelling and drinking..Drama yea I'm like a sponge for that scrap I don't want nothing to do with drama. I'm single so there is no drama in my life but yet it sees me walking down the street minding my own business and here it scums..I feel like getting the bumper sticker that says "Drama is my Life" and putting it across my head will got breaking news I'll put it up..

I really hate to see Belinda go down the tubes like this I promiced her Grandmother that I would look out for her and she is destroying her life with alcohol..I can't take care of her anymore she just drinks and drinks, and drinks, I hate watching people die of alcoholism. The Lady cops were OK Just doing their jobs I understand that. This neighbor is a real control jerk when he thinks he has the upper hand he plays it. Sometimes me and him are able to get along, sometimes we are even friends..But he and Belinda do not get along and while hes the one that called the cops and charmed them he is a back stabbing sob. He is going to play victim all the way to the bank..I wish I had the money to move I really do..I'd even move to the Cottage Hospital sleep like a baby right under the helipad..This neighborHood you got Engine 2, the freeway, the train, you got tramps all over the place, screamers, yellers, the shelter, Some nights people scream all night long, Circle K's gas powered leaf blowers at 5 in the morning. Oh and the steam cleaners come in a 4am some times to clean the restraunt across the street. Then you got King Rick and his radio blasting Santana over and over again until you just WANT TO SCREAM. Then his friends come over and they all drink and RAISE HELL it really don't bother me. What does bother me is his bullying and threatening of Belinda. She really can be a B%%%h sometimes but NO MAN SHOULD THREATENEN A WOMAN. On top of that there's his ex convict stories about how bad he is and he's South Central BLLLLLLLLLAHHHHH Screw South Central Thank You for letting me vent this and me will all be deleted in the morning. Roger But I aien't taking no more of his bullying NO MORE!

Well, it will go like this. Dozens of us will show up with signs and picket and make sure no one kicks you out. You spend thousands of hours helping US feel and stay safe. No way is someone going to bully you. The police ought to know you are on the side of good. They ought not to be calling the landlord for any reason other than to tell her the other folks are stirring up trouble. Keep up posted and let us know what you need. There has been no physical contact the cops were here they are gone now. At first one told me she did not feel safe leaving me here as if I was going to jump the ash hole who is now talking smack outside my door now that the police are gone. What a jerk!

Now the cops said what is going on here is a Civil issue the cop requested my landlords phone number I did not want to give it to her because my landlord is old and elderly I don't want to stress him out. So they are going to call our landlord and tell our landlord that we can not get along...You know what that means right? The streets I aien't even got enough to buy a car and sleep in it. Not enough to buy a pot and in it..

No I'm not ok my neighbors got into an argurment. I tried to keep the peace because when Belinda gets mad the guy she yells at threatens her. He called the police usually the one who calls the police is the one they listen to. They showed up he came at me told me to not get involved "Told Me" I don't like being told by bullies..I told him he was in the wrong too..He barked I barked the cops two gals started back toward me after talking to Belinda. I had words with the cop...Not bad words I thought I had rights I guess I don't.
