I heard a rumor that there are about 10 different "Urban Hikers" who report all over SB. Makes sense why they are everywhere all the time.

Woohoo to those two young men. They deserve recognition for their heroic deed, and I wish to acknowledge them. Thank you to both of you. You are wonderful!

Those kids who rescued him are amazing! Hope they get a reward and the recognition they deserve. How many 12 year olds would ignore their own safety to rescue a stranger?

There are more young people in SB like those two who saved him than those who more often get mentioned here. We need more stories like this to make people understand that SB is still one of the best places in the world to live

750P - they are great kids who are real heroes and we all could have done without your comment on their weight - not the proper time or place. These kids are terrific.

750, that was totally uncalled for... guess you feel threatened that even people who aren't ultra skinny can be heroes? These guys reacted and did the RIGHT thing, good job to them :)

It is so good to hear good things about our youths today. They did have quite a jump to navigate into the water. I wonder if perhaps the gentleman in the small boat was heading ashore because he knew he wasn't feeling good and needed help.

I agree with 753! These kids are what is right in this world!
