@729P - I opened the image up in iPhoto and zoomed. The guy has tinted aviator shades on and his hat and shirt are matching. He looks like my uncle, who is a psychotherapist! Maybe it is my uncle and he's in town doing research or visiting family members other than me and all the affordable hotels were booked. Uncle Jay, is that YOU?

@705, What does "your typical homeless dude" look like? I could only see his head and hat. That ian't enough for me to see if he looks like a "typical homeless dude."

Ha!!! If you look closely at the 4th picture you can see the homeless guy who was apparently sleeping at the campsite. He doesn't look like your typical homeless dude.

I can't attest for SBFD, but I know that Montecito Fire does not charge for any calls they respond to in their jurisdiction.

You guys weren't the ones looking for fireproof clothing the other day, were you? That would just be too much coincidence.

It costs alot of money for a full fire responce. My van caught on fire over 20 years ago at State and Mission Engine 3 responded and put out the fire. One engine responded later on I got a bill which I paid for just under 300.00 Like 267.00 or some thing from the fire department. I figure now it's double or triple that amount for one engine this call involved several engines. Acouple were canceled two were there to put out the fire and number 3 showed up with tools..I did not know the homeless fella was still there..These are known as warming fires homeless people use them for cooking and or heat. Some just light candles others do camp fires..

These fire's are popping up all over the 101 recently. What's the deal? I wonder what the average cost is to put these out is?
