I wonder what the statistics are on reconciliations? Unfortunately, all too often a woman doesn't leave until there have been years of abuse and often more children to hamper her leaving and to be effected by it. Raising more abusers is the scary thing.

The only real way out of these situations is to leave and not look back. I was lucky in that I had somewhere to go, but I did have to leave with what I was wearing and what was in my purse. These things do not ever heal themselves. You just get better presents and empty promises, and the next time it happens, and it will happen, it will be your fault. I hope and pray for that the baby and it's mother's future.

I know jerk came home for dinner..He showed her who the man of the house is..The cops got him, the Jail house that is..When he gets out if she and the baby are ok if she sticks to her guns. He won't be allowed anywhere near her. Then he will be like "Oh Baby I'm so sorry I will never hurt you again..." Jerk! I hope she kicks his butt down the road..
