Any dude who uses his penis as a weapon deserves to have it cut off. Guaranteed he'll never rape again.

Even though a subject may not necessarily be related to humor I sure enjoy Roger's take. . . It often lightens the load of sad and alarming news.

421 - it wasnt just some jerk in the midwest, it was a sitting Congressman who was running for Senate!!!! A man who along with the current GOP VP candidate wrote a series of laws designed to define the various levels of rape that would allow for an abortion. Yes, a series. no idiot of this caliber deserves to be in Congress - no one. And Paul Ryan should be no where near the honorable office of the VP of the USA.... we need to banish these religious morons into the history books forever...

-421 Are you a man? If you are, would you lobby for lesser consequences for another man who raped you "nice" as opposed to a man who raped you "nasty?"

I think they are all violent and what if someone who is under age changes their mind Not that many partners will take No for an answer..Date rape is basically rape the guy or woman is not taking no for an answer it's still rape by force..

Are there not differences between violent rape and "date rape", or the various forms of statuatory rape? Ought not the penalties be different?. Of course, they are. So a jerk in the midwest chose the wrong word, "legitmate". I think he meant "violent".

The death penality goes along way if you or a loved one has ever been a victim or this scum that lurks the planet a sure fire way to get them to stop is kill them. They will never offend again if they are DEAD. For those of you that think they deserve another chance you bleeding heart ACLUers ought to take them into your home. Not parole them to shelters where there are potential victims.

This is why I am so sick of rapists/sex offenders getting light sentences here in SB County. It is scientifically proven and there are numerous psychological studies that the recidivism rate is over 95%, yet we let these sick freaks out to ruin another life. You get 6 years for a rape/sex offense, are in protective custody in prison, then let out to offend again.Location in your area by Megan's Law does nothing, you can't harass them or you get put in jail, and you shouldn't be subject to live in fear and keep an extra eye out. These people are incurable, they only get off on whatever sexual fetish they have, rape, molesting. They will stay indoors and pent up sexual urges will lead them to act eventually.Only solution is castration or life in prison. We literally pay for these rapists to live and get a free ride because they get a job,and then they do it again.Sick society,Bruce Nelson I hope you get taken out,SBHS basketball coach turned rapo.

Why would defense attorneys use a claim from a delusional politician based on the rantings of a general practitioner with little to no experience in treating pregnancies or even rape victims? Now the rape laws could be changed by delusional politicians who want to blame women for the uncontrollable urges men have to brutalize those who are weaker than themselves. But they would be acting on the behest of the folks who elected them.

I'm wondering how long before defense attorneys start using the strategy for their clients that the rape was not a "legitimate rape" unless the victim had the tar beated out of her as well.
