COMMENT 316605- I find your comment to be full of bigotry and possibly hypocritical or simply the words of an uneducated person. What this guy did has nothing to do with Hispanic immigration nor is it due to a race. This is about a man with low moral code who was willing to prey upon an innocent little girl. To suggest that immigration or race has anything to do with these crimes is wrong on so many levels. Here is a thought, read a history book or two. You will find your kind of thinking popular about 100 years ago. Also there are times that bigots said the same thing about the Irish, the Germans, the Italians, the french, Russians, the Chinese, the Japanese and believe it or not the Native Americans. Which are the only real natives to this land. Not saying Bigots are not nice people... just very uneducated, and most don't even know they are bigots... But like the quote says before you post "if you can't say something nice...etc"

Anyone wonder if he has a business license to sell those tamales? Health department check of cooking premises? Any idea how much regulation a restaurant has to go through, and taxes they pay, and if you patronize someone selling food illegally on the street you undermine the legitimate efforts of honest restaurant owners. Just like buying flowers from someone on a corner instead of in a shop, if you spend your money with someone doing an illegal thing you support a culture of deceit. Do one dishonest thing, the next becomes easier.

I agree with Flicka, and this isn't new news - child molestation was happening here many moons ago - and yes by whites as well. Mexican's have been here forever so get off your high horse (no I am not Mexican) and stop making things an ethnic/race issue (by the way Mexican is the same race as white - see how college pays off??) just know it's a sick human issue.

Such racism. This crime of men taking advantage of underage girls is not exclusive to one ethnic group. The 2 men from Mammoth in fairly recent news were white professionals (no food stamps or subsidised housing), one a doctor; preying on a young girl.

611P - innocent until proven guilty --- quite a few confessions have been thrown out because of ignorance of rights or police misconduct or other reasons that challenge their validity. Not saying that's so here, but just observing.

DARN, I (used to) buy tamales from him at the Farmer's Market! He told me about how his wife made them. I think 1) I won't be seeing him at the regular spot this weekend, and 2) his wife won't be making his tamales anymore. Now I wonder, is it fair to post the mugshot since it has not yet been proven he did it?
Aw shucks, I'm just steamed about the tamales. Pun intended.

He'll flee to Mexico as soon as he's able, wait a few years and then sneak back across the boarder, find another victim and do it again. Well, I'm sure he'll find victims in Mexico while he's cooling his heals. But he'll never be arrested in Mexico for the crime. Every week he'll confess to a priest and ask for forgiveness. He's only 46, so he'll be repeating the cycle many times in his sordid life.
