Being stuck up there without water, lots of snakes, poison oak, with no way out other than in to the waiting arms of the law, on a hot day is not winning. It is just a matter of waiting. Cops have time. He does not. He is alone. Cops work in shifts. Cool.

Oh please, this is Rocky Nook Park folks, there are several ways out of there and he is probably long gone by now. It is not that hot up there, there is water in the creek year round and it is really shady and it's not that snaky... I grew up near there and spent summers playing in that creek, there are plenty of escape routes.
