...the main safety problem these events generate for everybody, not just near neighbors, is the amount of alcohol consumption they generate. Then those folks are on narrow rural and unfamiliar roads, often after dark. A friend has a small ag business and a barn in a lovely setting. She does 12 total weddings/non-profit fundraising music events a year; they help make the ag business profitable. She says the worst things about them are the drunks.

I was thinking of picking up a few acres and putting in a motorcycle dirt track and BMX area. I'd require mufflers and helmets, and would provide disposable ear plugs for the neighbors if they wanted them. No big field lights except in Winter. Thanks.
