I love stapelias! Thanks for the pix. I have a few different species, inc S.g. One of the others has flowers the diameter of a nickle. Another has flowers shaped like a bell, with a dark velvety red interior. Tomorrow, when the sun's up, I'll photograph my little ones to share. Thanks again!

Aptly named "Starfish", on the beach I think it would even fool other starfish. Never seen one so thanks for sharing.

144: Some plants attract bees, this one attracts flies. The sweet scent won't attract flies, but meat will. Some plants do a similar thing to attract beetles. Google Voodoo Lily for some cool pictures & more info on these kinds of flowers.
