315255 - there is photo enhancement and there is photo enhancement. One has to be very careful when using contrast adjustment that the color is not changed - this is especially true with blue changing to cyan.

Follow up...I did go back out to Jalama Saturday afternoon for the 3p.m. camp call...got a spot and spent the night...also had a Jalama chicken sandwich...just like the burger, but with chicken! Surf was way from the day before and the weather is just awesome out there!

5043.... on the issue of photo enhancing.... all digital files straight out of camera are incomplete just as negatives were in the days of film (ask any drugstore photo printer how many enhancements they make that you don't control).

And there was a beautiful nearly full blue moon when you turned around and looked the other direction! Reef and Run final boat to shore swim and East Beach party that followed the hot showers was the BEST!

Jalama. Where only the few ever used to go. Scary surf, and deadly for those who underestimated the power of the waves, currents and undertow. We used to see tarantulas migrating across the road, as we were en route to the beach. I have been afraid to go back, not wanting to see how much it has changed. $10 to spend the day kind of takes the shine off it. Nice photos. Do I detect some "photo enhance" at work?
Not criticizing. It all looks good.

Good job bouncing light back into the kayak on the first shot. Also love the comps of the first and last Jalama shots. You are getting noticeably better and better.
