Let him go? Even if you disregard the car surfing...he was driving under the influence. And with previous DUI charges. He has obvious disregard for laws, his life, and public safety. Put him in jail and throw away the key.

Let him go? I seem to recall he was not only drunk, but had a suspended liscense (for DUIs) so shouldn't have even been driving. If he'd refused to take part in this illegal activity the girl would be alive. The other girl should be charged too. STUPID not to call 911 and have paramedics come, maybe a life could have been saved. Montecito Fire (w/paramedics), Summerland too, could have been there in 5 min.
