I never knew what 'Avoid the 12' meant until the preceeding post said it was the 12 law enforcement agencies in the County. Really, is this the motto that we want to advertise, that we should avoid law enforcement? I'm sure the drunks would love to avoid the 12 if they could. They really need a better motto for this program. How about 'Avoid the twelvepack'?

Thanks for explaining what "Avoid the 12" means... I'd yet to see it defined in any of the press releases I've read on the subject. How about "Seek Out The 12 (Step Program)" ?
