Was at the train station- saw this. The girls were drunk and all carrying paintings of purple hydrangeas- and were waiting for the train when the fight broke out. I thInk they came from somewhere down south and did that touristy paint and drink wine thing. Needless to say, the whole thing was surreal with the paintings and wine bottles flying through the air.

To "Real Classy" I was INVOLVED, and let me set you straight on a few things. We are not tourists, we are grown women (not girls) who own business's locally. On our way back from the paint & wine party, we were accosted by several homeless people asking for money. When we refused, my sister was struck in the face with a skateboard by one of them. You bet we defended ourselves! How about asking what the CITY is doing about violent transients attacking people who were minding their own business?

@217 Over the Scanner nothing was said about transients attacking. It just sounded like a bunch of women fighting. Don't get mad at the commenters I'm the one that reported it. But I never heard you were attacked by transients.. Sounds like you ought to see if some professional media will do a story about your experience. Or maybe write about it and submit it somewhere tell your side of the story.

@217: If you bothered to read the original edhat report, you would see that I read it, accepted the scanner info, as it has proven to be extremely accurate here over several years, and quoted directly from that report. Sorry if the story left out critical details about what brought on this incident, and sorry that a group of respectable ladies were attacked by scumbags who probably should be sitting in jail. But, if you have a beef, it is not with me, or other posters here. It is with the Police Dispatcher and the local news media. OK? Peace, please.

Wait just a minute there @027 You called them Trailer Trash and your blamming me? No, no,no,no,no,... I'm not taking the responsblity for those remarks..I think if the original called would have reported a transient attack the dispatcher would have stated it over the scanner. Funny You say "Peace, Please" After calling someone Trailer Trash...lol
