Irresponsible. I hope that anyone who can just walk away from a one-car accident and arrive safely at their $2,200,000 home in San Marino without letting anyone know, can reimburse the County of Santa Barbara for all the trouble they've caused and expenses incurred.

Really? He ended up at home? Just left his Mercedes wrapped around a tree and left the scene? Hope he is ok but cant help feeling that a lot of time energy and tax payers dollars got wasted.

Could he be the person who killed himself on 101 near Winchester?

How can someone disappear like this? He's either in deep trouble or took off on his own accord. That's not that remote of an area. You'd think a few tracking dogs would track his scent pretty easily around there...

What is irresponsible are the posts here that making the FALSE statement that Kurt Brimberry has been located, and is safe at his multi-million dollar estate in San Marino. There is absolutely NOTHING on Google or elsewhere on-line that supports this ludicrous statement. As a matter of fact, this man is a well-to-do, high-level executive in the Investment Banking industry, (Senior Vice President of Fiduciary Trust International), in Los Angeles. This combination of affluence, and ostensible value to his employer, make Brimberry a prime target for either politically or criminally-motivated attack, kidnap, and ransom demands. I, for one, hope the local authorities are pursuing an intensive manhunt for this man, who may have been the victim of something more sinister than what it appears from the scanty details we've already heard. My prayers go out to the Brimberry family.

310986- It wasn't a false statement intentionally. His wife reported that a neighbor texted he was in the house. Unfortunately the neighbor was wrong, and it was a son. I apologized earlier, but don't see the comment. 310934- Dogs were used. They lost the scent on the road.
