What ever happened to having rumbles at the school yard? That way everyone gets a chance to take their licks, get their chops and walk away well satisfied that their group is more righteous and brave. Taking it to the streets is just dumb and too close to John Q. Public with a cell phone in his pocket and 911 on speed-dial. You want the cops to break it up if you're getting a can of whoopass but not before everyone's earned their stripes. Who's teaching these kids today anyway????

Using knives and guns, drive-by shootings=a bunch of puss' if you ask me. A good fist fight will show the pecking order. Fighting has been going on for centuries. Fight like a man not a puss. (hitting someone actually hurts and a lot of guys stop after the first punch!)

I guess fighting/ reasoning with words is out of the question? Maybe it's overly inflated egos. Nothing worse than too much pride used in the wrong way. I have been successful in tearing down a males' pride, but it wasn't easy and sometimes not even worth it. The attitude of live and let die infuriates me and I will not be with someone who does not realize the error of their ways.

Interesting, there was a concert at the County Bowl a few block away that night. The PD always steps up presence in the neighborhood during concerts.
