Writing in "ALL CAPITALS" reduces reader comprehension to 3 %! What a way to waste the results of good science

however did the weather services function in all those decades of perforating teletye tape? the keyboard had directional arrows for the wind and symbols for sky condition (ovc, etc) but no lower case letters. When COMEDS came in during 1975 there were still only capital letters. and now I learn that I missed 97% of all those messages .

Yesterday I drove from 112F to 71F in less than an hour (Castaic to Ventura). Lucky the windshield didn't shatter from thermal shock! #sarcasm
