I've seen these packages - they're great, but what if you don't have a compost pile? Seems a shame to put them in recycling.....

Biodegradable packaging seems like a no-brainer. Rather than banning plastic bags, how about mandating biodegradable packaging instead. Why not put the emphasis on the positiver rather than punishing the negative.

Interesting article or press release - good to know there are steps in saner directions. Am uncertain what John Dell would say about the word "revolutionizing."
