I can't believe it... I grew up on San Simeon. Used to be a peaceful neighborhood with tons of kids playing in the streets.

That's the corner where El Camino elementary is located. Lots of naughty and bored kids hang at schools during the summer. It's not too bad, but the San Angelo apartments also have some wanna be gangsters and they frequent the empty fields and san marcos grower nursery between turnpike and el Camino school.

SBSO were just on a couple near CVS Pharmacy..Said one fella headed into thje field toward the tracks was involved in the fight last night and likley has a stab wound under his right arm..I used to live on San Julio.

SBSO's helicopter was circling the area from about 11:30 a.m. til 12:15 p.m. I got on Edhat to see what was up! I live near Turnpike and 101. Thanks for the info, Roger.

They are also flying the mary jane ops in the mountains. Seen them go over my place up here a few times. No surprise there, they've been in county flying this week.

The detectives have one at gunpoint in Grainnys Field involving this case..One in Custody..

I'm not sure how many have been arrested. Earlier they were checking an address, I think they got one before that near the rr tracks.. I remember last night they said 4 were running..

Grew up right there. This isn't surprising though. Even in the 70s and 80s that field behind the school/Vons was home to many drug addicted homeless and a frequent hang out of gang types. In retrospect it was very dumb for my friends and I to ride bikes through there.

Really? I used to live at Newhouse by the County Jail back in 1980. In fact tomorrow is my 32 year anniversary of moving in there..Many fond memories of the people that lived there with me very good people. Most of them are dead now..Anyway I used to walk those areas all the time and hardly ever saw homeless there..I also cleaned up the Train Derailment there at Fairview in 1980 we all slept in a field up there no homeless just us..I slept downtown when I was homeless many times in my big sisters rented yard in the 700 Block of DLV Boy she hated that!
