Roger, that song was from a group called , "Wham" and it was George Michaels band....totally reminds me of California Coolers (wine coolers) and being drunk in high school!

RV`s can dump at Marborg by Casa Esp., & a small water-bottle [pump spray type] can be bought at the $ store for a "cat-training" device.

Woohoo California Coolers and High School drinking lol, miss those days when things were so simple! Roger, if you have a song stuck in your head and don't know the name of it, pull up google and type the words that are stuck in your head, there will be a link with the name of the song. Sometimes that happens to me and once I hear the song in full I can let it go. Unless it's "Yellow Submarine" which I hate with a passion and get stuck in my head any time I hear it, for weeks, gag!

The songs/commercials that get stuck in ones mind are always those which the brain is trying to figure out what the lyrics are. Anyone agree? If you know the lyrics, there's no reason for the brain to engage in trying to figure it out.

Roger, Fill a squirt water bottle up and every time Joey goes near Pooh Bear, give him a squirt. Eventually, he'll learn to stay away or else get wet. It's not harmful, but it will definitely change his behaivors.

These are just a FRACTION of the transient related calls that our PD, FD and EMS deal with 100's of times each week. The city needs to address this and stop enabling. Time for Mayor Scheinder (mayor) to leave as well as Cam Sanchez (chief), and Steve Wiley (city attorney) who is afraid of litigation from the homeless incorporated.

Sometimes the song stuck in my head seems to be trying to tell me something--when I think about the lyrics I see it. A couple months ago it was "Take it Easy" by the Eagles. Oh yeah--I could see I was all worked up about something and could just relax. Though god knows Yellow Submarine doesn't seem to fit with that theory. Roger, you could try spraying that stray cat with a weak vinegar solution (with a plastic spray bottle, if you can get that close). Coyote pee might work too, if you happen to have any on hand. Hide behind a corner so the cat doesn't associate the spray with you. I know, I know, never going to work. Sounds like you might need Animal Control....

I kept a squirt gun handy and spray just water on the strange cat - maybe makes him think my cat spits. Also works on the neighbor dog that thinks its okay to pee on my veggie garden.

Yes, water bottle helps, I do that to the neighbor cat that likes to lay right in front of my gate to taunt my dog and make him bark like crazy.

The song that periodically seizes my mind is that anthem from the hippie days, "The Ants Are My Friends, They're Blowin' in the Wind."

Squirt guns work the best for cat bad behavior because you can squirt up to 12 feet away. Cats are not able to figure out that it's coming from you. You don't have to put anything in the water for it to be effective.

I used to love diciplining my cats with my fancy water gun from a store previously known as Longs. And if this dominant cat happens to have no fear of water (since it is a badass from the streets) replace the water with dog urine. Ewwww. I take that back...just encase its one of mine who are no longer in fear of water!@?!#$@!!

The song is gone right now but it was stuck in my head last night and today early this morning. Joey Bear from HELL was stalking Pooh Bear all morning..I've been thinking maybe water cannon, animal control is not an option.

Squirt gun was a total failure for me. After one hit or attempt, they would hear it before I could get any pressure, same with spray bottle usually-- my own or neighbor or unknown cats. A large mug or small pot of water is effective if the cat is outside. Inside? Just keep using the spray bottle, Roger. Just shake it at him. G'luck. I once threw a small pot of water at my own cat -- he was meowing /yowling at bedroom window at 1, 2, 3 a.m. to be let in. Unacceptable. He learned to use the dog door. I threw water close, not at him. The splat on concrete cured him in one try. I agree with the water bottle, squirt gun or even a super soaker,, but you might have to get real sneaky

DON'T put vinegar in with the water. If it hits his eye it'll really sting. I know you love cats and just need hiim to stop being a bully so no need to harm him. The water should be enough. They hate it.
