We received an innocuous little post card informing us that our parcel in the Lower Riviera is to be rezoned. Would have been easy to miss it because it looked like junk mail! In our case, it looks like our parcel is in a split zone and will be reassigned to a single zone. I hope that's all there is to it. I'm more concerned about the beach parking fee proposal. That would be a huge blow.

305338 - Considering that the city already charges a parking fee at all of its beaches, and has for several years, your concern is unfounded. The beach parking fee proposal has nothing to do with the city.

The General Plan has operated as a city staff cram down - anything that will raise local taxes and growth so they can get better salaries and benefits. Or allow certain political groups to hand out sufficient "affordable" goodies to reassure their permanent re-elections. Beware the city General Plan.
