There are emergencies ALL over the City everyday... Most are medical calls and whatever equipment is closer will respond (large fire truck/HP). It may have been a simple medical emergency or a water rescue-

271. I agree. SB is no longer a small town. It has grown and the population with it. Days and nights are filled with emergencies of all kinds and crimes from petty to serious , and road accidents of every type. We should realise this and not jump everytime we hear a siren, see a fire truck or watch an ambulance pass by on it's way to help someone.

How sad.

Well...aren't you supposed to say that for every posting about a local emergency?

We have to prevent erosion by preserving rocks at any expense. If there's unbridled bodies of water lapping around then rocks might get eroded This realization freaked someone out and they rightly contacted the authorities. This happens occasionally among the anti-erodites. They like rocks, not water or wind because both tend to split rocks in two. Look at what happened at the Grand Canyon. We can't let that kind of thing ever happen again.

Clearly, no one has a clue as to the answer to your question. This would be the place to look for info, but perhaps not the place to ask...

Of course you're curious, I would be too. Doesn't matter how many emergencies happen around town, seeing one makes it more personal. I was at IHOP yesterday and saw two big fire trucks across the st., then firemen were walking around on the roof; I wondered about it, still do.

Great! Seven posts down I found the answer to my fire truck sighting.
