I watched the parade. The first item was a line of police motorcycles - this seemed to reflect the heavy police presence which has become a hallmark of recent Fiestas. As always, lots of beautifully groomed horses, with riders in traditional uniforms, and plenty of children throwing flowers and confetti on cue. As a parade it had a regimented and almost militaristic tone - but most spectacular for the equestrian appreciators amongst us. Then I walked over to de la Guerra and ate the tastiest fish taco for lunch.
