A fire alarm went off in the relatively newly built music building-a two story craftsman style structure. Montecito Fire found light smoke in some of the rooms on the second floor of the unoccupied building and called in for additional units. Montecito's remaining firefighters were called in as were several units from Santa Barbara City Fire. Smoke was coming from a heating unit which was then turned off. No open flame was found. Westmont is currently hosting a music camp.
