Reboot your router before wasting your time on the phone. If the TV is working I would try that first.

Pathetic, isn't it? That in a supposedly First World Nation we attempt to run our digital networks over 20 year old cable coax that fails on a regular basis or even worse, over 40 year old phone line if you use DSL. At any moment in time, we are one good wreck with a car hitting the right pole to have all of our network dropped for days.

I would say reset your modem and router. If cable TV is fine, it's probably just one of those 2 things not working right (even if your computer says you have a wifi signal).

301381 I agree. We are totally out of it here...no longer the first world country we tout ourselves as being. At least not here in SB. As for Cox- watch your bills. We were recently over-charged for services we did not request or receive and for us it was A LOT of money AND they deducted all of it from our account!!! Not even kidding. We cancelled the tele. because we lost trust. Very disappointing service. I guess I'll go back to baking bread and Ed Hat!!!!

OP here. Thanks. Rebooting the router earlier in the day did nothing. Did it when I got home last night and now it works fine.
