In response to the dead crow hung in the parking lot, sadly hanging animals is not THAT uncommon here. I've heard stories of hanging cats (not sure if dead/alive) and also of hanging pit bulls to make them stronger for fighting - all in Santa Barbara. This place ain't perfect :/

I thought about that Death at the Library...Especally since many people that were there heard nothing about it..I keep thinking maybe the body was found near the Agatha Christie section. I don't know if the crow was "Hung" or already dead.

I feel like anyone who would call the cops on someone just for talking to himself while sitting on his own porch probably has worse issues than the talker.

Completely sick when people do that to animals. Whats even more upsetting though is the dismissive nature in response to the death/torture of so many animals, all the while, we cry for weeks about people. Any death is sad, but animals obviously aren't as important as humans.

The family in the white van overnights at Goleta Beach. Saturday I saw deputies, including a supervisor, questioning him and then leave. I was told their RV was leaking sewage and the Park was trying to ban him. This has been going on for several years now. Wonder why Parks can't get their own ordinances enforced?

I have no idea there are all kinds of things it seems lawenforcement cannot do anymore..Kinda makes one wonder.

thanks for the kind comments about animal control on sundays. There's only 2 people there, for calls and animal care for hundreds of animals. And the volunteers too of course.

I had a guy working for me a wile back that was always talking to himself, it was no biggie, the man just had questions that only he had the answer too. At the time he didn't know he was a trend setter, I see a lot of people doing it now , they come into my station and take care of biz all wile talking to no one I can see . You know I think that little dewhicky in there ear has something to do with it !!
