We the neighbors wondered what happened and where George moved to. Yes, George was mysterious, a good man and a good Den Leader for BSA. Our condolences to his family from his former neighbors....in SB.

I remember When satellite dishes first came out they were HUGE! George had a 20 foot across dish at his Montecito street store, HEMEC. It was so big that cars on the freeway would slow down to look at it!! HEMEC was an electronic candy store. One time I went in and his kids were playing on the first Apple computer. I told him at $4000 they will never catch on. He said that he was going to invest in Apple and get rich!! shoulda listened to George!
