If that butterfly is actually on the fig tree, then it's a huge alien species. The other possibilities are that it's much closer to the camera than the tree is, or it's photoshopped.

I posted this picture yesterday; it was a huge butterfly and I only had my iphone so I zoomed in on it as close as I could without disturbing it so it wouldn't fly away. I did however want to include the leaves of the fig tree because we were so surprised by its size. It was not photoshopped; just from my phone directly to edhat.

Not an Anise Swallowtail. A Western Tiger Swallowtail. A joy to see these gracing the day.
