That seems like a lot of money for cereal and bannanas, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and mac &cheese...

The food costs next to nothing. It's the people that cost money.

Ha! Aramark is the same vendor who supplies food to Yellowstone national park. The food was pretty good!

How did Aramark figure out what Yellowstone Park liked to eat?

Hope they serve the same "green bologna" that is such a hit with Sheriff Joe Arpaio's "guests!"

#7833 The article says that inmate crews will be preparing the food. Where is the "people" cost coming from?

Funny. The same people who serve you Dodger Dogs are serving the jail inmates their food. Because prisioners aren't capable of feeding themselves. Prision wages are typically astronomically high. Not to somebody might poison somebody. (Give me a break) Funny. The same people who serve you Dodger Dogs are serving the jail inmates their food.

Works out to less than $1.20 per meal. Pretty reasonable if you ask me.
