Apprently there was a foot pursuit involving the CHP. Sounds like SBSO Also responding. I don't know why the CHP was chasing the subject.

Lost the vehicle at Los Positas and Modoc not in pursuit at this time. Driver got away passanger got caught. Driver is possibly a hispanic male adult 5'5.

How the HELL can you loose a car in a pursuit in a town that has the MOUNTAINS on one side and the OCEAN on another...?

There are alot of places to disappear in this town. Parking lots garages etc. My guess is the passanger hoped out and the CHP went after the passanger.

Saw the silver accord zoom past with a chp car giving chase at about 2:50, heading down state towards la cumbre and town. The accord almost t boned the guy in front of me when he blew through the red light. Glad that at least nobody got hit by the fleeing car.
