Earlier in the week, it added 20 minutes to my commute. Today it added 35 minutes. Plus I got stuck next to some guy with his windows open, puffing on his fat stinking cigar. Yuk. And would those taking the off/on ramps at Mariposa Reina please not do that as it frustrates and slows up everyone stuck in lanes. Or maybe I should do the same thing..............

Maybe you can close your windows. Maybe you can think for yourself. Maybe you should not live so far away. People need to quit having kids and take care of themselves and live close to there job. Live simple. Is this the way people think? Lets have 5 kids, live in lompoc, destroy my car and waist our lives driving to and from work every day. Maybe some people could shed some light

People coming up from Ventura/Oxnard had to endure this everyday for a bit longer than 3 weeks. I think we get that it sucks, but complaining about it won't make it go any faster.

349-Exactly! This looks like the normal commute going South. "Day 1,372 of stop and go traffic on the 101 South." So sorry this is ruining everyone's day on that commute.

Only a temporary delay with an end in sight. As folks have said, it's like this every day between Ventura and SB and all day every day in L.A. Here at least you're stuck in a beautiful location

I'm glad we in Santa Barbara don't roll up the drawbridges and lock the gates to the city at night. As if that were possible. Santa Barbara has just too limited affordable housing stock to support all the workers we need for our service industry economy. So unless our governmental leaders become visionaries that plan and implement excellent public transportation to Ventura, Lompoc, and the Santa Ynez Valley, get used to this sort of gridlock. It's not going to get better in the years ahead, only worse. A big thank you to commuting workers for servicing our fair city of Santa Barbara.
