Kittens shittens - there is nothing as indelibly cute as a sleeping cat.... 'specially in REM sleep.

130, that's kind of rude. Two months ago I had two 15 year old cats that I had to put to sleep. Pardon me for posting photos of my new kittens. And btw, I think Carmel looks sweet.

*kind* of rude, yes. I like to think the poster didn't mean it that way (being a Pollyanna). I never had kittens, only adolescents (6 month olds). Lost the last one at almost 20 years of age.... I empathize, Dan. More pics of your kits please?

I really don't believe 130 meant it as a "mean" comment. Carmel looks like such a sweetheart....

What a beautiful boy. Sounds like Carmel has a harem - Even at 18 he could be pretty frisky. Kittens in your future?

@Auntie S. Please don't encourage anyone to breed their cats. Go out to ASAP during "kitten" season and learn why everyone should spay and neuter their cats. And, please don't tell me that then there would be no kittens. There will never be a shortage of unwanted yet wonderful, adoptable cats and kittens.

Owner here, Carmel is neutered, and our lady cats are spayed...Carmel is wonderful. He sleeps on my pillow at night and purrs, even in his sleep. I am honored by the kind words about him here...thank you!

I think that the 'kittens' comment was just an observation that most find kittens to be considered "cute" by default simply because of their tender age and active antics, while more mature cats are often overlooked for their less flashy but subtly charming ways. Cat people know that cute is never defined by age, but by personality and by the feline ability to encompass us inept humans in their fascinating lives.
