About 2 years ago I was walking past that area and saw a bunch of guys run out of there. I walked the length of the trail and at the end it's a long walk. I found a man code blue at the end he wasn't injured in any way just looked like he was at the end of his life more than likley from drinking. I called 911 and I never saw the poor fella again. This is different though.

Considering the location, more transient on transient crime... I wonder if it involved one of the Casa Esparanza "clients" that has recently arrived in town...

Very likely a Casa Esperanza client, probably right out of the jail. That was a huge response from CHP, Caltrans, SBPD, and Fire, and had to cost thousands of taxpayer dollars.

More than likley keyt will report this as another transient overdose death. The mustache with a microphone was probley out there down playing the whole thing. According to John nothing bad ever happens in Santa Barbara, except when it rains. I heard it too over my scanner Assault with a head injury. The homeless kill themselves by coming to s.b.

197 Do you know for a fact this was a Casa Esperanza resident? Apparently you feel they don't deserve a full-on response?
