My first wife was pretty smart...master's degree...but she was constantly perplexed when she could see the moon during the daytime. She thought the moon only came out at night. No matter how many pictures I drew or models of our solar system I fashioned with a lamp and coffee cups, she just never got it. And no, she wasn't blonde.

Roger - The 18:52 is UT, basically Greenwich England. They are 7 hours ahead of us. That makes it 11:52 PDT.

Really people? Just enjoy the beautiful photo without splitting hairs on when the full moon is...it isn't that important when it comes to this picture.

anyone else have trouble sleeping during the full moon?! i feel like i'm buzzing with energy and toss and turn until i just give up and get up in the middle of the night! crazy!!
