It is not just cruise ships, but any place there are people in closed quarter like resort, rest homes and college dorms. Wash your hands and do not touch your eyes, mouth or nose.

Now that's got to be bad for business. All best to those afflicted.

I was living in Philly when the American Legionnaires at the Bellevue-Stratford Hotel started dropping dead for no apparent reason. Scary stuff when you can't see what's attacking you.

If it's found to be a new virus maybe they will call it the Viking Virus. Or Solvangella.

Not Viking virus..cannot be ethnic. Remember the short lifespan of the Nahajo virus before it became the hantavirus.

Good thing they didn't go bathing in Lake Cachuma, huh?

Sorry to hear of their misfortune and hope for a speedy recovery.

Wow, that was a very poorly written article. It took me quite a while to get through it. That would be weird if the investigation started before the outbreak.

I know of a few people who have been sick with this in the Lompoc area. They were very I'll, but have recovered.
