In other parts of the country they are having power outages and a searing heat wave. Consider yourself lucky to be close to the moderating effect of the ocean.

413 you are right but I don't think the OP was complaining. I think they were just informing.

Sorry, my previous comment was meant for 419, not 413 or 412.

While we are all on Ward drive, does anyone have any detailed info on the apparently VAST amounts of Liquid Natural Gas on the bluff near the end of Ward Drive? I would love to know the relative safety of this and be assured that something like the power going out will not result in much bigger danger.

26 hours later, thanks to a large generator, power has been restored to our neighborhood. Repairs are expected to take a week.

People in Africa are without running water and food. People in parts of this country with heat waves and power outages should consider themselves lucky. People in North Korea are put in prison for no good reason and tortured frequently. People in Africa should consider themselves lucky. So yeah, it still sucks to be in SB without power. I'm guessing the original poster isn't terribly stoked about a fridge and freezer full of food that's likely going in the trash. And they were just posting citizen news.

419/433... no one accused the OP of complaining.
