1. There goes the freshman 15. 2. I love everything but the price point. $8 for a burger, fries, and a coke is beyond most people's lunch budget. It needs to be $5-6, as that is the going 'fast food' lunch price point.

Wouldn't everybody be better off if UCSB also composted its daily defecations instead of pumping them through the Goleta Beach poopoo pipe into Goleta Bay?

@417P the problem is industrial farming with unsustainable practices are heavily subsidized by the USDA. We are paying a tremendous price in cheap toxic food. Sure I wish the basics were cheaper thank the dysfunctional 1% and international bankers and psychotic governments. @ 427 yes it would be much better. Read the Human Manure Handbook. I see they let the kooks out of the Craigslist Rants & raves again.

I guess students aren't so poor after all. Nothing but the finest for their pampered palates and bodily sensitivities, so I guess we can send our tax dollars somewhere else because they have bucks to burn. Let them eat ... organic carrots, she sez. I'm sending my money to students who still have to subsist on rice and beans.

This is great! Though I find it absurd it costs me more not to have hormones in my food.
