JOHNSANROQUE - Wrong...It has NOTHING to do with proximity to the freeway. Get off the 101 at Turnpike and the ONLY stations you see are Shell and Fuel Depot; both have cheaper gas than the Mobil. 293256P et al - Raise prices to suck money out of students with parent's credit card? Genius. That explains why K-Mart charges Nordstom prices and the pizza at the Turnpike Rusty's is $8 / slice. Oh it isn't?? That's because you are all WRONG. 293273 - WRONG...Why don't you simply find a gas station owner and ask them exactly why their prices sometime fluctuate twice in a day. You'll find there is no conspiracy on the owner's part. 293265P is close. The two stations on Storke are so crazy high priced because they are the first ones you see since Buellton. The station at Winchester is fairly new. 293272 is right on (partially). Owner is not lazy, but the fact is that Mobil simply charges more than other stations because of the brand name. Same is true across the country.
