I have only limited knowlege here, but that is not a damselfly. It is a dragonfly. The damselfly is smaller and more delicate. Also, they fold their wings when resting. Most dragonflies keep their wings spread when at rest.

Gotta concur w/ 162 here. Looked up images. Dragonfly, not damselfly.
