As a Carp resident, I don't want that here. Go elsewhere.

As a carp resident, it's always been here. Get over it, it's just bodies. Don't go there if you don't want to see the human body. I really could care less, but I want to know how (as a carp resident) you didn't know they were here doing that since the 60s?!

Reminds me of the guy in his truck in the bates parking lot. Dude was playing with himself with the door wide open.

Fine with me-just charge the nudist beach goers two bucks to pay for the pervert enforcement costs.

Why is it nudists are always blamed for the actions of others? And why should they be charged for the anti-perv enforcement? I don't see pedestrians being charged for the crosswalk stings.

We are just a hypocritically prudish nation that loves to tell others what to do but god forbid anyone (the govt) tells us what to do!! "Don't tread on me and restrict my freedoms, but you over there? Y'all go no rights, 'coz you ain't right."

Oh yea you nudies at Bates provide the carp pervs something to do, I've seen them while riding my bike next to the tracks. They hid in the bushes with binoculars while staring down at the beach. 076 Why do I have to look at your dangily thing while at a public beach? It's not what I came to the beach to see. To each his own, I just avoid the nude beaches.

I doubt european beaches suffer from perverts. I doubt parts of the world where indigenous culture are intact and not influenced by christianity perverting the body as sin or sexual intent or temptation have perverts

The issue is this prudish culture that perversely divorces it's humanity from nature.

Solutions: The ending of cultural homophobia, the end of the silly notion of marriage sexual fidelity (monogamy) playing a cat and mouse game on male sexuality (straight, bi, and gay). The majority of those offensive behaviors come from entrapped married bi males needing to hide and quickly get home to the wife.

When we associate nudity with sexual signaling that is the problem. Perverts prey upon the areas in hope of a pickup or voyeurism fantasy. Just as in walking clothed down the sidewalk perverts with a lecherous mind prevail yet remain in an actual small minority.

Monogamy is silly? Have you no morals? Obviously..NOT!

The bluff areas above the beach at 150/Carp Ave are moving ahead with hotel style development. Nude beach use is incompatible as the beach will no longer be isolated. Additionally, there's plans for a new pedestrian/bike trail that will connect the area at 150/Carp Ave to Rincon County Park with a bridge over the railroad tracks, so pedestrians and cyclists have access to the beach park without hoofing it cross-country, crossing the railroad tracks, and for cyclists, without having to get on the freeway or loop around via Bates Rd. All this will bring more non-nudest local resident and tourist use to the beach.

Recommend the nudists find another more secluded alternative. (Loon Point in Summerland comes to mind.)
