Thanks for the discussion. I have had two incidences in the past two days which infuriated me. One was a cyclist at Las Positas at the overpass - he moved into my lane of traffic to merge left while (not before) he was indicating/looking over his shoulder and I happened to be right there - lucky miss as I wouldn't have time to get out of his way. Another was a cyclist on Anacapa barreling down the sidewalk and into the crosswalk at about 20 miles an hour without looking. Both situations would have caused serious injury to the rider. I am a cyclist, too. Please be careful out there.

That's scary about the car into the bank. My mom works just up the street for village properties.

I didn't know that you could call the police on people just panhandling.

There are two really OBESE ladies who frequently station themselves on the curbs in Goleta at the Calle Real shopping center.

They display signs that say "hungry can you help?" which I find to be really ironic when you consider their size. They have certainly stored enough calories to survive a famine.

I'm fat too but I still get hungry I know it's hard to believe that someone the size of a Good Beer Blimp could be hungry but it's true..I'm hungry right now I think I'll go to Cito and find a nice slender person to eat...I hope to find someone with alittle meat on their bones so I could toss some of them in the crock pot for later. That's whats gonna happen sooner or later the poor is gonna start munching down on the rich...Yum yum..Yep FAT PEOPLE get hungry too! Though were grossly overweight and make skinny people vomit. It should probley be aganist the law for FAT people to panhandle...
